The Lord Is Close to the Brokenhearted

Once Again, Kerrville Overcome by Raging Waters

In the month of July, one year later — 2026

On behalf of Pastor Danny R. Cox and Chairman Fred Cox, Sr., our hearts are with the families impacted by the devastating floods in the Central Texas Kerrville area.

At Greater Memorial Missionary Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas, we are lifting up those affected by the flood and praying for the safe recovery of those still missing. Please join us in prayer during these difficult times.

“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted.”
